1973 Ford Pinto for sale NC - Lime Gold, 38000 orig miles 4cyl sohc for sale in Robersonville, North Carolina

$7,495

38000 orig miles. 3rd owner. brand-new ac, r134 ... initial VG cond light green interior. updated to unleaded fuel specifications SOHC cyl head with brand-new valves, solidified valve seats, crane cam ((2 rpm power band, 3 travelling rpm)). Cyl head was ported, polished, bowl mixed and even shaved very a little for flatness, all in the name of running on unleaded fuels, perhaps with a 25 % +- upgrade in gross horsepower.
Has the stock 3.42 equipment, 7 and 3/4 inch rear, centerline-style 14inch wheels, huge brand-new tires, brand-new header, custom 4cyl 4bbl holley carbohydrate, 450cfm, adjustable timing gear on front of engine easily accessible thru the timing cover, for the tuner or racing nuts.
Another person can determine or recommend how much power this setup will certainly make - My Guess is around 125 horse power vs the stock 88 from the factory, however it might produce somewhat above or below that, I imagine, depending on how it's tuned, quality of fuel, whether a practical hoodscoop is included, and so on
. A pertronix digital points-eliminator timing system conversion is installed. As are new brakes. Well over 15000 invested, the majority of which were mechanical, drivetrain upgrades. 2 extra 1700 on the Air Conditioning, and vacuum container, Transmission seals, New torque converter, parts and labor. just 200-300 miles since the brakes, cylinder head, cam, carbohydrate, header, exhaust, radiator and starter were made NEW. So, the Crane camshaft isn't really even fully broken in til approx 200-300 even more miles are accomplished (currently reviews 37595).
When I obtained it approx 8 years earlier, rest of the car has under 38001 miles on it because brand-new ... 3rd owner ... It had 30,000 miles on it.
Original 13 inch slotted alum wheels, tires, receipts, parts and books are included, if desired. Hear it run idling on nov 2013 Youtube video, search for "1973 ford pinto for sale North Carolina" on YT, for the one 2013 and 2 sept 2014 new videos on - hear it idle with the air conditioning ON on the September 2014 video 2. 2013 video shows the nofrills black maaco paint from 8 years ago - it held up reasonably well, however, was still ugly from the beginning.
New color change ((totally dismantled for painting)) to lime gold (light green pearl) paint job (to match with the orig light green avocado? interior) is done as of 19 September - not PERFECT but it's a terrific looking paintjob on a general very straight vehicle.
Only evident dent I have actually identified because, is one aircleaner stud ding from the underside of the hood. We aligned all 15 or so dings we spotted - they resembled hail or shopping cart dings.
New custom fibreglass trunklid mini-spoiler includes it, but I probably wont install it or repaint match it simply yet. - it's deep gem green, a ford color.
It's gonna make a great airconditioned cruise-ins vehicle and discussion piece. A great very first automobile, exactly what with the automatic and slightly more effective 4cyl with under 38000 initial miles on it.
Everyone loves to see a running Pinto. Original seats and carpets are intact, green. Dashboard is under a custom green Cover-It felt cover. Drive Anywhere. It'll take more than 13k to construct one like this, and it wont likely be a 38000 initial miles car.
I'll be making the roofing and most likely the lower 4 inches of the body between the wheels/under the doors, medium envy environment-friendly in the next few days.
New 11 inch K/N Filter with K/N filterlid is installed atop the 4bbl Holley, hmmm for a poss extra 1 or 2 or 5 horse power? Perhaps. Sounds much better anyway.
I will certainly consider serious cash money offers, my loss, your gain. Turnkey Ready to cruise, or drive it to school, or out on a date to the iamlike, drive-in.
Wink.
